The 25th is a few days before the moon reaches full, so we won't have as strong of a tide pushing us down the river as we're used to. Still, the almost 9 ft. tide should give us a good push. The high tide at Toledo is predicted to be a little before noon. The high tide at the Elk City ramp should be about an hour later, so the plan is to leave ramp at about 1:15. The 6¼ mile float down to the Canyon Quarry ramp should take less than a three of hours. After shuttling trailers and pulling boats and getting back to Toledo it will be time to meet at Pig Feathers for BBQ. Ask about borrowing a Boathouse rowboat or canoe for the float.
