CHEADLE LAKE JANUARY LUNCH MESSABOUT
Thursday, January 8, 2015

Start the year out right with lunch and boating at Cheadle Lake!:

The Plan:
  Day: Thursday, 8 January
  Time: About 12 noon
  Lunch: Bring
  Boats: Small, rowable or paddleable
Ramp: Paved and free, with dock
Leader: You are it for yourself.

Yes, this is a repeat of last month. When we were out on 18 Dec, the water was clear enough to see the bottom. The vegetation had given up. This is the time of the year to go to Cheadle.

In case it is new to you, Cheadle Lake is the old mill pond south of Lebanon, OR. The City has turned it into a recreation area. Going south from Lebanon on Hwy 20, turn left just past O'Reilly's Auto Parts. Go part of a mile and look to your right for the newly paved parking lot (you can see the lake). The lake stretches on quite a distance, and is great for this kind of outing during the wet season.

Come on out!
